Description
Activated vegetable charcoal is produced by burning coconut shells in the absence of oxygen; this initial stage results in a naturally porous carbonised material. It is then activated using steam to increase its adsorption capacity. It is thus capable of absorbing, onto its surface, up to100s of its volume in gases and toxins.
